The Toerggelen is a traditional South Tyrolean custom following the harvest. Originally, winegrowers and farm workers came together in autumn to taste the new wine. Nowadays, the Toerggelen is open for everyone from October to November to taste the young wine and enjoy traditional meals topped off with roasted chestnuts.
In the mornings, you wake up to the aromas of coffee and freshly baked bread at the rich buffet breakfast with local dairy products giving you a taste of the irresistible local flavors of this region. At teatime at the Pennhof Green Hotel, you can pause to savor the great variety of homemade cakes including our delicious apple strudel.
