Our Organic beef

During the last years and months, the importance of fresh products has become more and more important, especially due to scandals in the food industry. Therefore, the consumer started to change his habits from “meat eater” to vegetarian or even vegan. As a chef with already more than ten years of experience, I know about the concerns of the consumer. The freshness of food, in this case meat, is my first priority. The Green Hotel Pennhof is one of the few farms which produces organic beef in and for South Tyrol.
Our cows live in their natural environment on the meadows of the Valle Isarco. Fresh air, daylight and plenty of daily exercise are the most important criteria for high quality meat. After a summer in the South Tyrolean meadows, our animals live from our own cultivated hay. During the cold months, they always have the option to exercise outside and enjoy the climate. A healthy lifestyle in a natural environment with locally produced products free from additional additives make our organic meat special in taste and quality!
